Bill McGuire

Bill brings more than thirty years of fundraising and development experience to the Grant Park Group as a specialist in development research, strategy, database management, foundation & corporate philanthropy, prospect management and major gifts. His extensive career has spanned multiple campaigns and fundraising initiatives for organizations ranging from DePaul University, Notre Dame, Seton Hall University, Brookfield Zoo, Associated Colleges of Illinois and Loyola University Chicago.

Moving from the back end of the development office as a prospect researcher and database manager, Bill moved to the front lines of fundraising as a major gift officer. He spent fourteen years at the Associated Colleges of Illinois, initially as chief development officer, and then expanding his responsibilities to include management responsibilities. During his tenure there, fundraising increased by a factor of five.

Bill has exceptional experience in the areas of major gifts, foundation and corporate philanthropy, prospect management, data base management, and stewardship.

In addition to his development work, Bill is an adjunct faculty member of Loyola University Chicago, where he teaches art history and he previously taught at Northern Illinois University. He lived in Italy for five years, and he has been a member of the Loyola University Rome Center Alumni Board, of which he was president for three years. In addition, he was a board member of the Chicago Chapter of the Association of Fund Raising Professionals for five years.
